Great job. Love the color combo.

What did you use on the rear spoiler?

The wide black matte stripe down the center of the vehicle was unusual.

IIRC The hood was painted, the roof and trunk were a wrap, and the spoiler was painted.
I used Cquartz Finest Reserve on all of those surfaces.
CQFR did not cause a glossy shine, but it did make them slightly darker with a very slight satin finish.
IMHO CQFR made the black matte finishes deeper and richer looking.

BTW - I even coated the inside of the engine bay (Gold painted areas) with CQFR.

Thanks for posting pic and detailing this iconic 50th Anniversary Dodge Challenger.

The front spoiler/splitter looks like it was "transplanted" on to this model from a 1970`s racing Trans-Am series Challenger.
The color hue name I assume is the same as the edition name; 50th Anniversary Challenger Gold Rush edition. From the pics, it looks like it has some metal flake to it. Very unique, to say the least.
The "modernized" Super Bee caricature insignia is a very nice nostalgia tribute to Chrysler Performance.
While the late 1960`s and early 1970`s were the golden age of American Muscle Car era, today`s American muscle cars (Mustang (EXCLUDING the new Mach-E; E-Yuk!)/Camaro/Challenger-Charger) are so much better in terms of handling, creature comforts, performance, reliability, and safety, that the ONLY comparison is the retro-styling that they "applied" from their golden era counterparts. (No comments from the peanut gallery about today`s car styling designers being un-original and un-imaginative. Reference the E-Mach; then you understand why)

Do you every remove the wheels from a vehicle that you detail?? Those (massive) tires and rims on this Challenger look like another Trans-Am transplant!

Excellent detailing workmanship!!

Thanks for the info and the pics.

Dodge does retro the best by far. Chevy started out strong, but moved farther away from the classic look with each revision. It`s looking more Asian with each change.

Thank you. That is very kind.

If I can get deep into the wheels I don`t remove them.

Thank you again! IMHO It turned out sweet!
