Probably the most common question I get lately: Is Mothers CMX Ceramic Spray Coating safe for use on fiberglass gelcoat finishes on boats or RVs?

The answer is: we have not tested it per se, but as most of you know, gelcoat can often times be treated just like paint, and many of our customers have been using it with great results. Keep in mind that a new surface or a properly-prepared surface will yield superior results. And since gelcoat can get very porous when neglected, proper oxidation removal in the form of our Professional Rubbing Compound or Professional Heavy Duty Rubbing Compound may be necessary. On surfaces in good condition that just need a light polish, our CMX Ceramic 3-in-1 Polish & Coat is ideal.
