So Friday evening I got a call from a client/friend of mine. He tells me his cousin just took delivery of a brand new Huracan Evo and he wants me to come by and get it squared away. Just so happens I had a cancellation for the weekend so of course I was game.

Bright and early I arrive to the shop and meet the owner and go over his concerns with the car. Now being brand new most people would think it should be perfect. Especially for over 300k! Well we know better than that and I see the usual towel/love marks and some other things wrong. But what I couldn`t get over was the amount of factory DA/Sanding pigtails left all over from the orange peel removal. After a little conversation I was off to work.

Wash/Prep

Rinseless wash with ADG Wipeout. No claying or other decon was needed.

Wheels/Tires

Gently cleaned with wipeout and some soft brushes as this car has carbon ceramic rotor/pads. Tires dressed with hyper dressing.

Correction

This paint was on the harder side so a heavy one step worked and finished great. Rupes 21mm/Flex Pxe, mckees microfiber pad, IGL F1 compound

LSP- IGL Kenzo on the paint and the Xpel ppf that was on the nose of the car.

Car looks good, I am actually glad that brand new cars don`t come perfect from the factory because the real heroes that make brand new cars look excellent, are the ones that the factory can`t afford. BTW, I see that you used ADG Wipeout for the wheels in light of the carbon ceramic brakes, I also imagine that you used a rinseless so that you didn`t have to tote around regular wash tools? Do you know which chemicals are safe to Carbon Ceramics?

Typically just mild soap and water. Or a rinseless solution. No need to risk using wheel cleaner

P&S Brake Buster, Feynlab Pure Rinseless, and Feynlab Pure Wash are all safe for Carbon Ceramics. The Feynlab products work quite well at their recommended solutions.

Drove one of those for 7 laps at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in December. That thing is an absolute BEAST. Great job on prettying her up.
