2013 Range Rover HSE - A Miracle Detailing - Cquartz Professional (https://www.autopia.org/forums/click-brag-the-detailers-showcase/191195-2013-range-rover-hse-miracle-detailing-cquartz-professional.html)

This particular vehicle had seen years of neglect. Scratches, Holograms etc.

There was "something" on the paint that would not budge with a decon treatment.
After Washing, IronX and clay treatment, the paint still looked awful.

Please take a moment to look at the Before/After. It`s a really quick video.

Wheels: Thick caked-on blackness. I went through a complete 1 Liter bottle of IronX (https://www.autopia-carcare.com/iron-x-paint-cleaner-refill.html) on 4 wheels!

Each wheel "bled" like this for 3-4 different cleanings/scrubbings before finally getting them clean.

After the wheels were scrubbed clean then the entire vehicle was foamed with IronX Snow Soap
This was before the IronX spray (https://www.autopia-carcare.com/iron-x-paint-cleaner-refill.html) and decontamination with a Nanoskin AutoScrub Fine Grade mitt (https://www.autopia-carcare.com/autoscrub-wash-mitt.html).

Now this is where the fun begins...I finally found a (a two-step) combo that worked on this paint.

Correction:
Meguiars 5" microfiber cutting pad
Scholls Concepts S3 Gold XXL

Polishing:
Lake Country HDO Black Finishing Pad - 5 1/2"
Scholl Concepts S30+

Thank you for your very kind words.
I believe he was very happy with the results.

Sometimes it is make new much better...
and other times it is "extreme makeover"...
The 50/50 vid (https://youtu.be/fCHTSUww0IM) in the top post tells the story.
IMHO it turned out 1000+ times better than when it arrived.

This is my fav side reflecto pic.

Awesome Merlin!

Almost looked like it where sealed with an old tire slime dressing LOL. Maybe since the wheels where so bad it had never been washed and had a huge amount of road film on it? Or it`s a combo with something from a tunnel wash where it did not get cleaned and mostly just sealed in the dirt again. Strange condition on the before video.

And man what a turnaround you did on this one! Amazing finish with that that sharp candied look. Beutieful!

I`m not sure what was on the wheels...but it was a bear to get off.
The paint was another story...but the turnaround was pretty sweet.
