Took my old Chevy down to a car show in Marquez, TX this weekend. Naturally, I had to get it nice and shined up first.

ONR Wash
Blackfire Compound then Polish using a Griot`s Garage 6" RO with orange then white pads
Topped it with Poorboy`s World Black Paste Wax.

She`s far from perfect but she showed really well and generated a lot of interest. It made my day getting to drive it in from the lake house and back (25 miles round trip).

Uhhhhh.......sure. I drove it in and back without any real issue. Haha. It is running great at low rpms but at the higher rpms it feels (and sounds) like it`s missing a bit. Just need to keep working on the timing a little. There is spark cable that runs down to the distributor and retards or advances the timing that isn`t moving the distributor like it should so I need to get that sorted out and it should clear up that problem (fingers crossed). Otherwise all my previous woes were sorted out! No radiator leaks, minimal leaking oil (if it`s not leaking a little you are out of oil!), brakes were working great, no fuel issues. It really does love running.

Just wish there were back roads in Dallas!

FIGDOAG14- As long as you`re able to chuckle about it there must not have been anything serious :D

I *was* indeed wondering about the cooling and fuel systems.
