New client with this recent purchase who took this somewhere near the Ferrari dealership in Pennsylvania at they’re recommendation for a high end brand of coating and PPF install. He contacted us because he wasn’t happy with the work. As you can see I don’t think PPF was the shops best talent! I recommended to him to return but he wasn’t willing to do that? I couldn’t get any good pictures but I don’t even know if they corrected the car as it had a lot of minor scratches. As far as the coating, water just laid on the car? Correction with Griot’s correction cream on an orange correction pad and polishing done with Griot’s perfecting cream on a black finishing pad. Finished up with Modesta Primer on a black finishing pad. Coated paint with Modesta BC08. Plastic winglets and rear diffuser with Modesta trim coating. Tires with Nanolex tire. Thank you for looking! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190331/23bcfe65fec4303e478efddab5932d3b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190331/2caa5228e4db34d8c6ef1dd36fb2804b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190331/2a95edb529b898d262b259525daa9db3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190331/70192a1cb021ec7a993763cc9ef34f1f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190331/302b5b2ddd81ca472903d540b7bfc94f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190331/3ee481ba74b5b1aebf5e92ee4bb1594b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190331/f8c580111eec75a218fe38b39195caf9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190331/1be504815e507bdba468d6986f3960b4.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190331/ff336b9372417ca625fbc4db22137f0b.jpg

Mike:
Did you pull off and completely remove the Plastic Protective Film (PPF) , correct the clear-coated paint and then coat it without PPF??
The dark silver/grey is a better looking color than the light silver on this Ferrari. Just my opinion.

I gotta ask about what the neighbors think when they see such vehicles in your driveway. Some time ago my wife`s nephew drove his boss` Porsche 911 Carrera 4S to my house because he knew I would know how to properly wash this vehicle, as his boss did not take very good care of it. The problem is you just do not see cars like that very often in my neighborhood, especially at my house. Not that I live in a run-down neighborhood, but it is a modest and well-kept area, albeit an "older-newer" development in the Green Bay area.
Yes, the nephew took me for a ride with the top down after we got done because he knew the 911 is my dream car. My modest collection of 1/24 scale models 911`s and large framed wall pictures of 911`s are evidence of that. The real thing is much better!.

It used to be the experience of many Detailers, that even brand new Ferrari cars came with lots of defects in the paintwork..
The Dealers did not fix them, the Client discovered them and then found real Detailers that would remove them..
Imagine, you have to get on the "List" to buy one.. Brand arrogance at its finest..

Nowadays you have to get on a list, on which you may wait for over a year, to buy a sports model Rolex too.

Unfortunately I never got into doing film. I think it’s a license to print money if you’re good! I have people I refer clients to . He didn’t want to bother with it? As far as the neighbors, they’ve gotten used to it! LOL!
