Referral from a current client who purchased this car a month ago. He has not washed it as he travels frequently. Same company that does all the work for the local dealerships and I must say they are consistent! As you can see the car was destroyed! We advised the client that no way would the car be perfect but we could probably get to 90%. Multiple cutting steps with measurements after each step to be safe. Cutting done with Griot’s fast correction cream on a microfiber pad using the 15 on very damaged and difficult paint. Polishing done with Griot’s perfecting cream on a yellow perfecting pad followed by refining with Griot’s perfecting cream on a black finishing pad. Modesta Primer was applied at the end of day one. Day two was correction of bumpers using the Griot’s 6 inch with the 3 inch pads and the same process. Coated paint with Modesta BC08, wheels coated with Modesta BC06 using the airbrush. Windshield done with glassparency and tires with Griot’s black satin. Thank you for looking!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/1eb50f99e7ca016affd3aab8b6e8ddd9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/2c1c91e459f1d2e172c69eb88524f477.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/cb1e4ef95181c0de34cdabd1f4e0f18e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/cd337bb55d813a837e7e3df533f547e1.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/c30f8bbbbc81acd50912e603f577ca9d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/55455e831e9dc0296e1ba7fc8a0f35c7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/011cebd86c2224346fa11a2e7ce695df.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/486806278745536d5404c7120ae6b9cc.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/b6d0f5cc07a21048d62fd9a4e70552d7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/77c07da1cf315b2dbc43f15f36ab8877.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/6288a0035dca6bd518eae7eedf08f71b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/50ca3ddc68e2d059483680b51df82b1b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/78c8af705915b20b40699e2ce26ccbb3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/2bbdaa78f9d70240d0728509a8cb2e15.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/800dbb8d0e7b2b3d3f185f9237504b62.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/5f1154a0b26363241b964bf63e6c6c0a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/cac36916311f9333f67075579a5df9ed.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/742fa5470b07f52ff2c77d774af0447c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/0440d72b124c2c46595b8f6bb958467a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/137b8a077a08e240398e31b5506141a9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190226/10e470018f96f1e64e878e48545f7efc.jpg

What are your thoughts on Glassparency vs other glass coatings? I haven`t heard much about it.

We really love it! Easy to install and so far has been very well liked by clients. Also, very good people to deal with!

Yea I`d be interested to hear about this as well. When I saw that in the picture I went to the website and checked them out, but I`d like to hear from someone who has used it.

Have had it on our cars, sitting outside 24/7 for about 3 months and no decline in performance so far.

[INSERT usual praise for Mike lambert`s work HERE]

Gee, I`m amazed that somebody would buy that, let alone as a new car.

Mike lambert- I gather the Glassparency is another "Pro only" product that non-Pros like Yours Truly won`t be able to get, right?

It is available to business owners and a lot of glass installers use it and bathroom installers use it.

You should contact them and ask for a sample, never hurts to ask being the owner of your shop! LOL

Awesome work and write up and pictures as always Mike!

Man what a mess they do on new cars. Wondering when are the buyers of their new cars going to say stop and not buying them. Could be that they don`t know any better and what expectations they should have. Good for your business though. But sad to see a new car needed that kind of correction.

OMG those Michelin had some browning on them LOL!

Thanks for shareing your work Mike!

Oh I forgot to mention something since you have some Scangrips. They have just released UV lamps for curing that looks like those on the stands in design. Think they got a smaller one too for if one needed. If you would want to look them up.

Think they work on curing coatings too. Or it maybe need to be IR lamps?

It`s called cold curing. Here are the specs of the bigger one

Thanks for the kind words! I’ll check those lamps out. Modesta requires short wave IR curing.

Looks great Mike! Are you running hot water in the garage?
