Coated with Kamikaze about 2 years ago and was due for a refreshing. He added some carbon fiber bits as well. Washed with the Griot’s foam system with the foaming sprayer, correction with Griot’s correction cream on a microfiber pad, refined with Griot’s perfecting cream on a black finishing pad.Finished off with Modesta Primer on the Modesta pad. Coated paint and the factory wheels with BC08, extra wheels with Dr Beasley plasma coat. Trim with Modesta epc, glass with Dr Beasley glass IQ. Thank you for looking!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180701/4408f69ea8cb023ac83b500f81f4782c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180701/4c714fde8edf07a743af3fbcb581c8b7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180701/18bd0182d547ebe2e04be9c78aa2745e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180701/3296de548197336e20c6abb79cfb9e16.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180701/c8f439e83a3a456c95d2dfbcd2cd5be6.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180701/e029976c179c499e75075298974d6350.jpg

Very nice looking car. I’m guessing someone running skinny drag tires has something special under the hood.

Great work as usual.

Was told no under hood pictures? 1000hp on E85!

Really beautiful 2014 Shelby GT500. I have the exact same car in black with the black racing stripes, although you`ve upgraded yours to put out 1000hp. That`s more hp than the Shelby Super Snake. Putting on the Modesta coating was an excellent, albeit expensive, choice. Instead of the Modesta BC-08, I opted for the BC-04 (Nano-Titanium Glass Coating) on the paint and BC-06 (Heat Resistant Glass Coating) on the wheels. How do you like the BC-08?

Thank you! BC08 is an excellent product that allows more people to have the Modesta experience.

Hey Mike, I`m curious how much the Modesta BC-08 set you back for your Shelby. From your post, it sounds like BC-08 is a newer, more affordable option than the other Modesta coatings. That`s good news because I think that most of Modesta`s original coatings are too expensive, in part because they`re very time-consuming to apply and must be properly cured using infrared lamps. Plus, Modesta can only be installed by companies licensed by Modesta.

Based on my experience with Modesta BC-04 and BC-06, I think Modesta arguably still makes some of the best paint sealants on the planet. But, more importantly, would I pay to have Modesta BC-04 and BC-06 installed on my Shelby if I had to do it all over again?

First, I`d definitely do the BC-06 on the wheels again -- the BC-06 has been fantastic on my rims these past 4 years. Brake dust still wipes easily off with just a cloth; my rims still look brand new.

Second, I think that the Modesta BC-04 has been very good too -- deep candy gloss and excellent paint protection -- plus the durability is supposedly 10 years. However, I think there are newer glass coatings nowadays which offer similar gloss and performance to Modesta BC-04. So, I`m curious about the BC-08 that you had installed -- what it cost you and how long it`s supposed to last. Perhaps you can fill me in on the blanks, if you know them.

First off, it’s not mine. It’s a clients car and we are Modesta installers. After using other coatings we chose Modesta because it is the best on the market. BC08 is a more affordable alternative although the quality is the same. As far as price, you’ll need to check with your local installers.

Don’t mean to be short about it but we feel it’s the best and from what we’ve seen and personally experienced it out performs everything else we’ve used. And I can’t really give you any specific information about what it’s makeup is.
