View Full Version : Foam cannon wash

Hello, about to dive into the world of car detailing in a big way. After rinsing the car, then using a spray foam canon - do you immediately wash using the 2 bucket method OR do you rinse the car first then proceed with two bucket cleaning. I’ve seen people do it both ways. Need help. My 2018 Macan arrives soon.;) Thxs

For me, it depends on how dirty it is. If I get one that`s really dirty, I foam, rinse, then foam again and two-bucket wash. Thankfully, those are few and far between

As stated above, it all depends on how dirty the car is. I reserve the foam cannon for absolutely filthy cars, especially with lots of road film/grime. A car washed weekly doesn`t even need two bucket if you do a good rinse on it, preferably with a pressure washer.

A Foam Cannon Wash should be viewed as a pre-wash for dirty vehicles as stated above :)
