Just to clarify: I purchased these off the Net. I have been asked before when I review something if this was given to me or I purchased it. My review wont change depending on how I get the item, but in this case I plunked down my own $.

I used both of these this past weekend.

The Cyclone Mitt
Pros:
Holds a lot of soap
releases dirt easily in the rinse bucket.
Glides on surface
I really liked it

Cons
no loop to hang to dry
Since I don`t wear it like a mitt, I wish the cuff was not there

The Cyclone wash pad

Pros
Holds a lot of soap
releases dirt easily in the rinse bucket.
Glides on surface
I really liked it

Cons
No way to hang to dry
Holds so much soap that I quickly emptied my wash bucket. I decided to give it a small wring over the wash bucket and it still had plenty to soap to do the panel. This is not necessarily a con more of an observation I worked out on the spot.

I like both of the above better than my MF dredlock mitts, and not as well as my more expensive lambs wool wash mitts. For regular maintenance washing on my DD these Cyclone products are perfect. My demoted MF mitts will be used as follows, Green ones on wheels and Blue ones on lower dirtier panels and wheel arches.

How do you think the wash pad would work for ONR washes?

Microfiber Madness makes a similar mitt but at 8" x 6" it`s a little small for my liking.

A bunch of the reviews on Rag Co site says that the interior sponge/core rolls up or moves around. Did u find that happened when you used it?

With the mitt if you tuck in the cuff. Does it stay or does it easily come untucked?

I would not use it for ONR washes. I prefer taking 20 towels and dunking them in ONR and using them, and setting them aside for laundry.

I did not notice the inside sponger moving around too much but it was my first use. I like the weight of it, and found all I need to do was move it across the surface.

The Infiniti is wearing premier and the bmw is quartz plus. Both are working out well.

Love the hard candy look

Sometimes lighting, reflection, perfect paint, and the right wax/sealant/coating just make a car look unreal. That Infiniti looks incredible!

I just fold it over. If I really want to get fancy, I get it cut out and sewn closed.

Just ordered mine yesterday as I have the rasta-type. Hopefully it will release better than my MF towels that I use on occasion for RW.

Did you order the mitt of the pad?

Let us know what you think of it for rinseless washing. Seems like it might work out ok for that application.
