Thinking this light is a swirl finder type, on wheels.
Anyone have one ?
Does it work for you ?

I have one and it has worked VERY well. I have not used the ScanGrip model to compare it to, but the Astro has worked great for me.

So are these (for the lack of a better term) Chan-Grips? The pricing looks nice the wheeled (https://www.amazon.com/Astro-Pneumatic-Tool-200SL-Rechargeable/dp/B01CHP78TG) and hand-held (https://www.amazon.com/Astro-Pneumatic-Tool-50SL-Rechargeable/dp/B01CHP76CU/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_469_tr_t_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=A6P1946CJ6KZ03R9PZ9V) models.

Save your pennies for the scangrip, I swear by it!

I dunno about those Astro lights.

Every time I pick up a scangrip light, I can feel the quality that has been put into the tool. Same goes for Rupes polishers.

If I got the knock offs I would just be wishing I saved for the real deal.

Its not a knock off. Check out a website Auto Body Toolmart and you will see that these companies have been around for a long time and it is the detailing product companies that are knocking them off.

I`m curious about whether any of these lights show holograms...like, VERY light holograms on light colors. The kind of holograms I`ve never seen under my LED flashlights, only with the SunGun in a dark environment or under natural sunlight (at just the right time of day and the exact right viewing angle).

(I can see AWFUL holograms under some LED flashlights, but not very faint ones, the kind most people don`t see when I point at them.)

I like the scangrip for just that reason. On low it works great for lite colors.

Mike Lambert- Ah, so it`ll show the kind of things I`m concerned about, huh? I sure didn`t want to pay for something like that only to put it aside and order a new battery for the SundGun after all!

Some guys simply can`t see holograms that drive me nuts, and finding the right inspection light for stuff like that has been challenging.

The sun gun in my opinion is way overpriced for that technology. I can assure you that the scangrip will do what you want. I have both the hand held and the larger one on the rolling tripod.

Mike lambert- OK, good enough for me. The SunGun was the only thing that`d do the job back when it came out, only reason I have one.
