Hi everyone. I`m now an addict. It just started for me about two months ago. I just got into detailing after catching some videos on youtube, AMMO NYC, Chemical guys, ChrisFix, ect and realizing I have been washing my cars wrong forever. My last car was a TDI Jetta and I didn`t hand wash it at all, I only bought it for the mileage. I just picked up a BMW due to the emissions scandal and I want to keep it clean. I`m still deciding on what products to go with and have not really purchased anything yet. I`m glad I found this forum and have been reading and learning a lot.

Welcome, do yourself and your wallet a favor, start with one brand and gain experience before you get like the rest of us and buy everything as soon as it comes out!

Recovery from the addiction is not possible. No 12 step program

Welcome to the crew. Mike Lambert is giving you some pretty good insight in his post. There are several brands out there (or even through Autopia Car-Care) that have everything you need from soup to nuts. Ultimately you will but you need not spend a fortune to get things kicked off.
