I was perusing the Detailer`s World and they had a set of "Commandments" for their detailing site. What would a list of Autopian`s Commandments look like? Start with Thou Shall Not...(fill in the blank).
As in Thou shall not covet thy neighbors new polisher.

Even with a coating, I still much enjoy the ritual of waxing. And even with a sealant, one probably likes to have that sacrificial layer and extra gloss. Waxing, as a ritual at the very least, will never be obsolete.

Thou shalt Test, for the weasel words of marketers can not be trusted.

Thou shall not curse too loudly when your favorite microfiber towel touches the ground.

Thou shalt perform the test spot.
And the detailer saw all that he had removed, and it was very good. And the solvent wipe and coating were the sixth day (at least with some of these $2k+ details).

Happened to me Monday. Luckily my 5 year old wasn`t "Helping" with me.
Thou shall always remember `less is best` and `always use the least aggressive method required to do the job.`
