Hey guys. I recently ordered some Gyeon cancoat and cure for use on a few family member vehicles that I`m going to be doing over the next month or so. I have not used much in the way of coatings except some pbl wheel and glass coating. My non daily driven black wrx is my pride and joy and usually gets a light polish and a sealant around this time of year and is maintained throughout the summer with a myriad of nubas and spray waxes/qds. Coating it has never seemed necessary. I enjoy experimenting with different products as many of us do. My question is can cancoat be topped with different waxes/sealants? Or would cure be the only thing i should use? I would be willing to use cancoat on it as a very good base if I would still be able to top it with different products throughout the summer. Thanks for any input.

I used CanCoat on my DD for it`s base winter protection. I topped it with a number of different products, but did not use any waxes or sealants.

Had no issues using ECH2O, ECH20 w/Reload, PA High Gloss, Sonax BSD, Cure, Overcoat, and maybe one or two more I can`t think of...

I have had Can Coat on now for 4 and half months. I have topped mine many times with WG Fuzion Spray Wax, Sonax High Speed, DG Agua Wax and HD Express Wax. My car is Dark Blue. No problems with any of the before mentioned products. As far as Can Coat. I`m just now starting to notice some slight degradation on the beading. Gloss is still fantastic.

So I suppose I can assume cancoat topped with, well....potentially a lot of nattys paste should be ok? Like I said, I`ve never used any coating product on my car in the past but I`m kinda anxious to try it now. I wanna experience the gloss first hand haha.

Since it just finished raining. The rest of the car has never seen a topper. Except for bathe+ once a month.

I have been really happy with Can Coat thus far. Gyeon claims up to 12 months. We will see!! However for the ease of application. I`ll be happy with 6 months. With only 46 more days to go. I strongly believe Can Coat will last the 6 months plus some. Playing/experimenting on the hood is my Autopian Side coming out. :D

To those who have used cancoat what have you used to apply/remove this product. I saw the directions say a microfiber but we all know that there are like a zillion different microfiber towels. I would think a shorter nap would help prevent the towel from just absorbing the product.

Short nap works great, 2 sprays on one towel wipe with the second
