Polish Angel Cristal 50ml. (http://www.autopia-carcare.com/polish-angel-cristal.html#.WF6Sm00zWhc)
Item Description:

Polish Angel Cristal is for polishing defects such as silicon molds, burns, streaks, wax residues, weathering and used for cleaning or to remove mild to severe scratches from glass and plastic surfaces.

Use before Polish Angel Rain 9H to form full hardness.

1) is this going to be as effective as Ceriglass (which I already have yet am afraid to use)?

2) do I need a special type of pad to use Cristal?

it says it can remove scratches from plastic- interesting - anyone ever tried that?

3)do I need to do a panel wipe prior to using the Rain glass sealant?

I watched the PA Christal video and it looks like a normal pad (non rayon). I have my doubts about the scratch removal claims.

that is why I`m posting
I thought chemistry dictated that only cerium oxide was sufficient to polish glass, so I wanted to make ask before I purchased
I`m merely a social scientist, afterall, lol

If you notice on the vid. The guy loads up a yellow pad, then when he`s polishing he has a Micro pad ? Wonder if it`s cutting micro or polishing ?

1 -I have not done a side-by-side test, but Cristal does remove some very very light glass imperfections.
2 -You can use whatever pad you like. A heavier pad usually works better. I haven`t personally used it on plastic.
3 -After Cristal go strait to Rain. Like Primer/Cosmic, Cristal contains the hardeners for Rain

The reason I switched pads was because the yellow pad had too much dust from some previous polish. I didn`t get a chance to redo the shot of putting Cristal on the pad. It was a polishing microfiber pad.

I just purchased the kit last night and am glad you posted because I was going to wipe clean with a microfiber towel after polishing with Cristal before applying Rain.

You still remove the polish residue, just don`t use any spray or other products between Cristal and Rain.

Can you say what is in the polish that is strong enough to cut glass? I`ve got some coming in my next order. I`ll probably use a microfiber cutting pad. Keep the great products coming!
