I can`t say anything bout the flex but the gg6" is a really nice polisher if you`re gonna be doing personal work

The Flex if its the 3401VRG is a forced rotation random orbital that has been around for at least 8 years..
It will work really good but it rotates counter clockwise, which is the opposite of all other machines, so you have to be able to handle this and work with this..
It does take a few minutes to get used to the rotation but then its ok..
Most people will take the clockwise random orbital machines over the Flex because they are easier to handle with the clockwise rotation..
But the rotation is Not forced like the Flex rotation..

What will you be doing with the polisher?
If personal vehicles the 3401 is overkill in my opinion.
Sold mine last year and have a Rupes collection.
15,21 and mini.
I had a Griots DA and also sold that.
If you`re wrist or hands ache from power tools, don`t get a cheap DA or 3401 in my opinion.

I think the G15 you will like.

I`ve had my GG6 since Christmas and love it. I mostly do our cars, and a few friends. Got some `wash and wax` customers...if that part time thing takes off (which it looks like it mght), may look into a long throw

I got the GG Boss15 starter kit, best machine I have, It practically runs itself. The kit itself, you get to pick pads,
liked that because already have many.
I have 2 other DA`s (Torq X & 10) 2 Rotaries ( Flex PE8 & HF ) Down the road I will most likely get the 21 as well. Great machines
