I hope this question is not stupid. If a customer brings a vehicle with seat covers, how do you guys clean the seats? Take the covers off and clean the seats? Just clean the covers the best you can while they are on the seat? Take the covers off, throw them in the washer and clean the seat, then put them back on when you are done? Or have the customer take them off before they bring the vehicle? Most seat covers are machine washable, correct? Any help greatly appreciated!

No, this is not a stupid question at all..

If the Owner put the seat covers on because his seats are damaged, then you really cannot do much underneath there without getting into damaged areas..

How hard is it to remove the seat covers ?

Will you have enough time to do that and still not run over ?

Then, you have to clean or at least vacuum, and put them all back on, and then clean the seat covers...

Seat covers are all kinds of materials including leather or something like leather...

I would work this out with the Client at the get-go, and if they want to pay extra to have you work on their probably damaged seats underneath and pay extra for all the extra work to clean 2 sets of seat covers, then do what they want as long as they are willing to pay for it..

Bet you they will not want to pay for anything underneath there for the most part.. :)
