Recomendations on Dyes

I am looking to dye my vinyl. My seats are getting replaced and so is the carpet but I`d like to dye my door panels as opposed to having them reupholstered. Anyone have experience with a good product that doesn`t lift or fade? I do wear white shirts as well as other light colored sweaters and the last thing I`d want is that dye to stain my nice clothing somewhere down the line. Or wear through over time and reveal the ugly blue that it already is.
