Just spray it on and leave it on for a few minutes. Do not let dry. Flush the car surface with plenty of water. Clay. Wash as normal.

Agree with above, but you probably want to wash first so you don`t induce marring during the clay. I`ve used the Optimum equivalent with good results on paint (was not as bad as I thought it was). Make sure you are up-wind when spraying as none of these smell like roses :)

If you`re going to polish, i`d go with the "aggressive wash" method that Mike Phillips documented .

The Aggressive Approach to Washing a Car (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/how-articles/86146-aggressive-approach-washing-car.html)

I noticed you have the foam gun, so it seems like you have what`s needed for this. I have tried it before when i know i`ll be polishing after and it has saved me time, every time. Plus i like the fact that you`re working/rubbing the Iron Removing product on the paint and washing at the same time.

I think that`s what got me was the smell, and my imagining the worst.

I will look into this approach, this sounds very good. For this vehicle my plan was to try PB`s Black Hole & EXwC black then red pads.
Till I gain more confidence. This is a leased vehicle and I gotta get it right. Thank You. (4 link as well)

I have to polish this vehicle at some point so.. I get this Decon step down, I`ll be able to concentrate on polishing.
The bumper is messed up from rocks & bugs. Been trying many compounds on other vehicle in prep. for correction on this one.
Thanks for the help

Great method. I use it quite often. It saves a lot of time.
