I bought some Griot`s Garage Vinyl & Rubber Dressing on clearance from AAP, and finally got to use it. I tried it on my tires (less than 20K miles on the tires), and I am impressed. It goes on easily, and to my knowledge doesn`t have any petroleum distillates or other greasy ingredients. I used gloves for my hands, and an Eagle One curved applicator to help with the application, but it was far less messy and greasy compared to typical off-the-shelf products I have traditionally used.

The finished shine is definitely matte, but it brought out the natural richness of the tire`s blackwall. If you are going for a glossy look, this isn`t the product for you. This is for a natural rubber or vinyl look, and can be used both inside and outside of a vehicle. I don`t yet know how long the dressing will last.

I would definitely recommend this for rubber and vinyl surfaces IF you are going for a natural, matte look. Solid product by Griot`s.
