Since I moved back north I have been filling appointments for clients that have been waiting for my return lol! One of whom is the moderator for Northeast F body association. It`s a Camaro and Firebird forum for people in the northeast. Being a fellow/former Camaro owner I still post over there and occasionally post some pics of my work.
The moderator has always admired my work and invited me down to Connecticut to his 10 acre property to clean up his fleet of cars. Being that he is a enthusiast who has a few restored cars I jumped on the chance. Let me say that he was the nicest most humble person I have ever met. And it proves to me that there are people who in fact value what we do and will pay good money as long as you are willing to bust hump for it.
Onto the goods! I didn`t have to much time to take photos so I will give a brief description of what got done.
First up was his 2500 HD tow vehicle. This only tows his matching numbers Rally green 69 z28. The z28 was back in the shop getting a few touch ups. He is 50 points away from achieving "Legend Gold" status on the show circuit with it. Wish I could have got a picture of it.
The truck received a full interior detail, exterior wash/decontamination process, one step correction with Polish Angel Master compound and was coated with Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating.

Next was a express detail on his daily driver CTS 4. Exterior received a wash and decontamination process + Hydro2. Interior got a quick spiff.

Onto the fun stuff! The other side of his garage is his air conditioned man cave.
The 69 Yenko clone is a perfect clone of a original Yenko. And he was taking it to a show Sunday so he wanted it looking right. I did a waterless wash with Wolfgang Uber Rinseless wash mixed .5 oz to 32 oz in a spray bottle and used high quality microfiber supreme 530 towels to clean the exterior surface. A light nanoskin was in order too. Here is when it got tricky. My led lighting couldn`t pick up any defects in the bright paint work. After having him pull it outside it was clear that it had some light holograms. This car received a one-step with Polish Angel Master polish with a orange boss correcting pad on the 3401. It was topped with polish angel cosmic spritz. Interior received a touch up as well.

Next was his 68 ss driver. He drives this car a ton so I had to do a traditional wash and decontamination process on this. This received a one step polish with polish angel master compound on the g21 with a boss orange correcting pad. It too was topped with cosmic spritz. The aluminum wheels were polished as well as the chrome. Interior received a touch up.

Last on the list was his wife`s Subaru. She got a bit jealous that his rides were getting all the attention and she wanted in. This received the same treatment as the Cadillac.

All in all it was a great time. I got there Friday afternoon and put in 7 hrs. Then worked about 14-15 hrs on Saturday. It was almost like production detailing met high quality detailing. With the right products and process you can achieve great results without spending 25 hrs one one car. The owner was very excited! His Yenko ended up taking home the Sponsors choice award too!
