Does anyone have any insight on the soon to be released "Force" pads from Lake Country? Will Autopia be carrying these new pads?

A week ago or so I received an email from DI.com introducing these new thicker pads made specifically for the Flex 3401. They are an updated version of the popular Hybrid pads. Undoubtedly PBMG will carry them, but my curiosity is getting the better of me. Anybody (Vega :)) have the inside scoop?

BadgerRivFan (http://www.autopia.org/forums/members/103831.html) have you tried to contact them directly? You know they are located in Oconomowoc. I found that out about the time I moved from Jefferson back to Sun Prairie. I had thought about seeing if they had any seconds or blemished products.

No, I haven`t tried to contact Lake Country directly.

Looks like Detailed Image was taking "pre-orders" for these pads with an anticipated delivery of mid-May.

They are intriguing to me, as I just bought a 3401 at Christmas time and have been using their ThinPro pads, as they were the latest and greatest pads at the time. I have only been buying 5.5" pads as I switched out the stock backing plate for Flex`s 4 3/8" backing plate.

The new Force pads look like they may be a great choice for this set up, without having to buy the Lake Country changeable backing plate system to use their current version of the 5.5" hybrid pads...
