OH NOOOOO. Well, he could always do what I just did 5 minutes ago: Open it up to get a whiff of sweet, strawberry scent!!

disclaimer ...warning .. these are not air fresheners ... we have those ..lol

Despite Poorboys warning, my stubborn head got the better of me and I kept at it. Well, it left me high for the remainder of my work day, and throughout my commute to my gfs house. What comes next is a combination of having Friday night to myself, and being high on Poorboys* - Please, proceed with caution. Do NOT attempt this at home.

*Not literally high

As noted, I had Friday night to myself. No plans. No ideas. I had Poorboys products running through my head. And a comment I had posted earlier in the day became a reality. I went to test THREE products (Poorboys World Master Cut, Professional Polish, and Super Swirl Remover -1 (SSR-1). Part of it was to test the cutting ability of Master Cut. And that involved....wait for it.... WET SANDING.

So, what started off as testing THREE Poorboys products, turned into testing four. Then five. In the end, I used SIX of the products. Hence, the Poorboys Smorgusbord!

This was made possible due to my recent receipt of several sample sized bottles that I bought thru PBs directly.

Anyway.... This isnt a full on review. No sir. Just a "results" with some notes on the various products I used.

Products Used
Poorboys World
- Spray and Wipe
- MF towel (sorry, I forget whats it labeled)
- Master Cut
- Professional Polish

- Spray and Gloss
(oops, its SEVEN products, not six!)

Meguiars
- Unigrit 1500
- Unigrit 2000
- MF Cutting Disc 5.5"

3M
- 3000 Trizact
- rubber sponge thing

Hexlogic Pads

Misc other MF towels, water, etc.
.
.

What I started with. I wouldnt normally use a waterless, let alone on something this dirty. But for testing, I thought, "why not"

The products i THOUGHT I would be testing

Normally, Id wash and decon. At this location, Id use ONR rinseless, and follow up with clay and ONR as clay lube. Instead, i tried out the Spray and Wipe along with PB MF towel just to seee. I thought it did well as far as cleaning, especially given the level of dirt on the panel.

This is a before shot, with some of the products being used. The panel doesnt look so bad.

The small test panel (I was limited on time, so only did a small test panel) sectioned and taped off.

First Pass using 2000 grit (didnt bother with the rest)

After three passes. For this test, good enough

Next day morning sun shot

Oh, this is where I used the Spray and Gloss. The next morning, my hood test panel was covered in dust!! As I was reaching for the Spray and Wipe, I saw the Spray and Gloss and got that instead. I used it on the hood, and followed up by using it on my door panel that I used for testing the Ultimate Flawless Finish System. I was nervous about using this on panels that I spent time polishing up using several steps! For real. No kidding. I feared that I would mar the surface. Waterless products still make me nervous. BUT, it went on and OFF so easily. LOVED IT. The panels were in the sun for a bit and it was a bit of a hot day. At one point, I let the SnG sit for a bit after I sprayed it...i saw some evaporation going on before I wiped it off. So yes, I liked the SnG. Wipes off easy. No streaking.

And for Mr Poorboy. Im wearing a blue shirt, working on a (mostly) blue car, and taking a pic with a blue-backed phone!

EDIT: forgot my thoughts!

Master Cut. It can cut. I ended up only using the 2000 grit sandpaper. Wanting to test out MCs cutting ability, thats what I decided. I still dont use rotaries or wool pads. I ended up doing the work with a Meguiars MT300, along with the Megs 5.5" MF Cutting Disc. WHOA. Dust city. It was cutting, and getting the job done. But way too much dust for my liking. After one section pass, I swapped over to the Hexlogic Orange pad. This turned out better. It cut well, and dusting was SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. I did two section passes with this combo. The result after just the MC was acceptable. I dont think it finished off LSP ready, but I just took on sanding marks! So Im plenty happy with that.

I followed it up with the PP on the white pad. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Standard polishing with a polishing pad. It went well. The scent was kind of neat. Forget what it was, but it wasnt a put-off.

THEN, I went with the SSR1 and a black pad. I have not used black pad prior to this. I was wanting to see if I could discern any difference with whats supposed to be a lighter polish (over the PP) and a pad designated as a finishing pad. I want to believe that there was a small difference made. It could be my eyes, and I would have liked a second opinion, but i did think it made a small difference. Like the optical clarity was improved a bit more.

Topped it off with LNR. Love this stuff. Smells great. On/Off is easy, like other Poorboys products.

Anyway. I enjoyed all of these products. I enjoyed my little experiment on a Friday night. And I will trying out additional PBs products down the line. Still have more left!!!!!!!!! :jawdrop:

Odd. I checked on 2 PCs as well as my phone. Pics showing up for me. Sorry man! - Yup, switching to a foam pad made a huge difference.
