The car was in great shape to begin with, so there isn’t really much to see picture-wise. There was a bunch of very fine scratches down the driver side courtesy of a car wash which the owner wanted removed. He also asked which products I used, mentioning he saw I had done a few posts on Ammo products and hoped I would use them. I happily obliged to use what I could Ammo-wise while working on his car.
I gave the car two foam gun soaks, first with IX Snow Soap to help pull off the surface dirt, the second time with Carpro Reset was to make sure I had enough lubrication as I did the 2BW. I applied IX to the paint washed that off, then proceeded to clay the car. This was one of those rare new cars that had virtually no contamination on the paint. A few random spots here and there, but otherwise nothing. I pulled the car into my garage and corrected the paint very easily. The scratches were light and came right out after a few passes. I had to use my Rupes Mini in a few smaller areas, like around the gas cap. After wiping the corrected panels with Carpro Eraser, I applied Ammo Skin to the paint. I used Carpro Reload on the trim and plastics, and also applied Reload to the wheels. The tires were dressed with Ammo Mud. The interior was pretty much spotless. A quick vacuum and wipe down was all it needed.
