Yes, a great, great, Justice and a man`s man... 9 children !!!
They will miss his supreme intellect..

He was always for keeping the Constitution as it was divinely inspired and written by our Forefathers...

I am glad to hear that he was always quoting the Apostle Paul from the New Testament...

If they will leave the appointment alone until the new President takes office, it will be better...
Prayers for him and his family...

Don`t know about that, you could end up with Hillary appointing Barry. ;)

They`d never let it go that long and take the risk of letting a conservative President appoint the replacement. This is the liberal side`s opportunity to take definitive control. Sadly, the Founding Fathers never intended to let a body of 9 people have the type of control/power that we have afforded the Supreme Court. I believe our forefathers would be very disappointed in us.

It is sad to see this instantly politicized. I`m sure his mourning family is disappointed to see how he is only just a vote to most people.

That being said.... this is indeed bad news.

He was all to often the voice of reason in a collective where sanity was scarce.

He was a smart man who will be missed. What I appreciated most was his desire to continue the thoughts and sentiment of the constitution instead of using his position to further a political cause. He was 100% set on continuing those views and could be counted on to do so as his record reflects.

This appointment will be very significant for a long time.

Yes indeed, his emphasis on Historical Context was very important.

Hmm. I wonder what he was thinking....The constitution only applies to some.
