That place is incredible. We took a tour there on our way down to Disney world a few years ago. Seeing it on TV does the place no justice.

Sonic carhop girl gave me $2 back when it should have been 1.
So i pressed the button and returned the dollar...apparently that is not normal behavior. ..the mgr walked out and gave me a $5 sonic gift card...sweet

Very good on your part, honesty always pays off. When i worked at the Body shop, i moved a lady`s car to the back while she was checking in at the front office and she had left quite a few loose dollars in plain sight ,so i brought all that money up to her and she thanked me then told me to keep it all for being honest.

Oh man, sorry about that.. I hate replacing water heaters...Did you have to do anything to get it up to the newest code ??

No, fortunately I didn`t have to do anything to get it up to code.
I thought today`s brake job on my wife`s Expedition was gonna be a straight forward new pads and turned rotors job. The front driver`s side pads were in good shape, but the passenger side were down to nothing. Was hoping maybe the slides were sticking or something, but that idea was quickly shot when I pulled back in the garage after a short test drive and there was smoke and a hell of a lot of heat coming out of that wheel well. Thank God O`reilly is open late. Was able to grab a new caliper at 9;45 at get it swapped out.
Supposed to be going on a snowmobile trip this wed. - sun......hoping my sled doesn`t blow up or something next sunday lol

I stopped getting our rotors turned about 15 years ago. Up here in the north east after 2-3 winters depending on the severity the vents on the rotors are rusted shut and dont allow them to breath leading to the over heating and warping, so if you turn them they warp with in a month or so because of the lack of venting. When we do brakes its all most always pads and rotors unless its a garage queen or rear rotors that are non-vented.

Here in NC, we expect 70 today and tomorrow and then mostly above 50 all week with little chance of rain - good detailing weather ahead.

House of Wax- You get the brakes bled OK? That can be a huge PIA on some vehicles...
trashmanssd- Yikes, that`s awful about the salt/etc. killing the rotors so fast! What about getting them plated or something...the guys who cryo my rotors have a shop that does zinc plating for semis (their rotors are *really* pricey) and it turns out a lot better than the "zinc plating" (scare-quotes intentional ;) ) that sometimes comes on them from the manufacturer. Just trying to think of something that might help with the issue, not trying to be a "Mr. Has All the Answers" about it or anything..

I`m thinking of getting Vortex rear sets for the bike to add the quick shifter module and switch to GP Shift pattern. Has anyone ever switched to GP shift? I think it`d take me awhile to get used to the new pattern after riding with the traditional pattern for so long.

Yeah, I had to wake my wife up to come help me bleed them lol. All reports I got back from her this morning was everything is working great. No more vibration.
We get plenty of salt thrown down in Northern illinois....I`ve never had any issues using rotors that have been turned. Hard to pass up at $16

We get car rotors ones cheap enough its not a big deal tossing them each brake job. The ones on our international ramp truck on the other hand are $$$ and those only lasted 4 years and were toast.
