Hey what`s up Autopia. I wanted to share with you a complete paint correction on a 2005 Dodge Ram Srt10. The truck was severely swirled, had buffing trails from improper detailing, marring, micro marring, holograms, you name it this truck had it. I used a combination of both the Makita rotary and Porter cable 7424xp with various pads to bring back the shine and depth of paint. The truck took approximately 24 hrs to complete. The truck was a joy to work on and results were outstanding. The truck belongs to my cousin and he was ecstatic with the results. Please enjoy and feel free to post comments. I will post sun shots once the weather gets better. Thank you

That was a great turn around,is it really necessary to use the two bucket method on a job that is so messed up? I have been wondering if it is pressure washed first and it will be 2 stepped is it overkill to 2bm? I am new to this system and have only used it on good condition vehicles so far. I have done four trashed paint corrections and have not used the 2bm on any of them. I would like to hear your thoughts since you have more experience than me.

Thanks for the comment, yea I tend to always use a 2 bucket system just for safety and not induce any other swirls which in turn will just create more work on the correction aspect...

Nice work. Looks just like the 2005 SRT10 I did a few months ago as that was totally trashed also.https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/N1-2tEJwF5PEvfVfpSBUWxt4l1wX9zSqB1DuuTOvFKs37ADFks1rx Xgs-HMMUev9cFmbtdx6fhWcWyZytZoVlOWtgYanavhYVkl3px1WsYe Y6TZhJSbMbeld4gZGJ-T8i4zwOk6aqnfsc_Ba-70reoJm4zuTlBjTR7Vy6egcNnum2FUsALwGsY2kUqnrckUFN-u5-3VL9BYHAIwB4juQo17B6j6sngUz0QKVCul-GEOCVgeaLQGJLp_cU8bVtlj-De0gRI10bnfLMS4vjuusA2H83k5VLF76_vLX-DSlP9dAHEC0eLaRsEjk5tlHBy7Ss2Up-10zDpTshAlS0GzWy5FkAZXRSoMrZBfph9SXQ5C049Pl3frktM0 rshzc2MyjEkb1sOZ1QP-oJdUuers1TirRxg59b-qcXZaOt0av0bKQ311eN604RdOAJRjJrsWNCOszcrZ7buthLLb2 iAbGDQCbHXOf4FLcxeYY1kGegleydKlQK2rfIeFd6r0WpBLMgw ZToJ73wvkkIjGv6OkBltjOAGbOP1OiF4vWZiEG1WOgSAXTHhz3 lDKjNGV6EmsFh_hF=w1452-h965-no

Beautiful work I hope your cousin appreciates the amount of work that took. looks like the previous owner used the single bucket method but his soap was way to aggressive.
