Thanks to my Secret Santa I recieved the BF Wet-Ice Over Fire, which is one system I have really wanted to try. Since I was the lucky winner a few months back with the Polish Angel giveaway it has been on the back burner.

In August we sold my wife`s 08 Beetle ( so glad that`s gone, but that`s another topic) and I purchased an 02 F150 7700 series. The truck has 288k, with verified motor and trans rebuild at 240k.

At first I was just gonna wash, clay, and wax. It is a work truck for me. The itch got to me after a couple washings. Yes it has chips, scratches, and the previous owner destroyed the clear coat on the wheels.

A couple weeks ago I did a full prep, one step polish ( I will list products/procedures for those interested), and sealed with PA master sealant. Last week refinished wheels wetsanding polished then topped with Essence and Pa Supersport.

I just had to try out the Midnight Sun wax. Since time with my beloved Taurus is limited now I chose to test it on the truck.

I did a waterless wash with WG User(really liking it, but lick the Meguiars Ultimate Waterless a tad more), not real dirty since I did a full foam cannon two bucket yesterday.

I opened the new wax, which was a little tricky. That was due to the rubber seal which is a big bonus and nice touch. I used the supplied applicator, and applied in a cross-hatch pattern one panel at a time then buffed off.

I noticed it darkened the paint slightly and was extremely easy to buff off. After I finished ( which confirmed why I apply lsp by machine) I did a final buff. I noticed the reflections were more distinct and the gloss was really noticeable even on silver.

Needless to say my PA Coatings may sit a little longer.

Enough rambling here are some pics

Side note the WG Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant on the Fatboy caught my eye.

Sorry for the terrible lighting, working on installing lights in the garage. I have a shop light temp mounted on a truss.

I love my Sony. I hoping VZ gets a newer one soon. Not many have them and full of features. I like uniqueness.

Well tomorrow`s forecast is rain. I am not sure if I want to test the water behavior of this wax yet.

Just finished a job with my father-in-law today and the truck was parked in the sun. I couldn`t stop admiring the truck`s finish! Crisp reflections and a radiant glow was emitted. It was like the heavens opened and a beam of glory was poured on the truck.

I`m really liking this wax!

Thanks, I`m actually on my way to take cruise and blow the pipes out a little. Once winter sets in it will be torn down and cleaned up. With possibly a new cam installed.

I told myself it is just a work truck, but I couldn`t leave it alone. I even coated the inside of the tires.
