CarPro HydroFoam (http://www.autopia-carcare.com/carpro-hydrofoam.html#.VlujSJ_nbqA)

Quick post as i just wanted to share.

Vehicle: 2006 nissan frontier, the daily driver. 24/7 outside.
Coated dec 3rh-ish, 2013 with pbl v1. Topped July 2014 with synergy x2.
Synergy has since passed on the paint (id say it lasted a solid 7 months) but pbl v1 is still working, just not as wonderfully as in the beginning.

Diluted 1 part product, 9 parts h20 per bottle suggestions. Although i believe i read some using this 1:6.

I put 3 oz hydrofoam and 27 oz h20 just to try out my new Kwazar super foamer (review coming later once i get a chance to fill it up completely and use it).

Vehicle was lightly soiled from prev driving on wet roads, it was sprinkling during this as well, i was just excited to try out both new products. I only did the roof, drivers side doors, and hood/fenders as i ran out of solution then.

I hope these video uploads work

Foamer action...still getting used to it..am using too much??

Wash mitt was the lc foam wedge and grit guard bucket with 1/2oz onr to soften water.

Observations:

Makes paint quite slick, visually adds gloss and gives that `glassy` look. Increased flake too.

Streaks? Yes! I am assuming it was user error on my part as I foamed the roof, driver side doors and hood, then used the mitt. Then rinsed. Next time i will do one panel then rinse.

I read if there are streaks you should reapply the hydrofoam, however once dried I noticed the streets and they were easily wiped off with blackfire rw QD dilution and a 530 Cobra towel...didn`t even have to rub it much. Definitely not as hard as removing the reload streaks from my black srt which is coated w pbl v1 x2.

Anyways, so been driving about 4 days with it on my vehicle and it`s been raining everyday here by Austin.
Hood and roof dont see any dirt from the road so they air dry very nicely.
Rain beads up and runs across the paint...not as intensely as post pbl or post synergy but its pretty darn close.

Conclusions:
I definitely recommend this product. I`d be interested to see if anyone else experiences any streaking issues as I feel this was completely attributed to user error on my behalf. Just like my reload issue.

oh the smell...its not that great... vinegar and chemicals and I definitely recommend wearing a glove if you use this. I did not, whoops.

economical? Quite frankly I`m the last person to discuss economical with...
BUT
I`d say 6oz product would have done my 4door nissan frontier out of the foamer, maybe 7or8oz to be safe. Definitely less if you washed the car first but i feel that defeats the purpose of this product and it`s intended use.

Thanks for reading.

My results were also largely positive. I too experienced a bit of streaking though totally my fault. I used this product at a wandless wash, dried the vehicle quickly (it was cold) and drove it straight to my garage. The roof racks apparently didn`t get rinsed out thoroughly and they were blown out on the way home. The water/hydrofoam ran down the windows. I saw the streaking and got on it as soon as I got home, only a few blocks from the wand wash. The streaks came off with a quick detailer but it required a bit of elbow grease. I would not normally have perfomed this process at the car wash but due to some other factors did it there. All in all, a week out and a waterless wash later it looks, beads and feels great. Don`t know about durability but my experience to this point would be one where I would recommend it.

I`m guessing the pbl left on the surface helped me wipe off the streaking easier.

I think I`ll probably buy another bottle of this since it`s on sale

I have yet to decide if I would incorporate this into an actual for-pay job or not as I`m afraid I might streak a car and put in more effort removing it.
I seem to over apply things.

looks like 2bm may be the best method to avoid streaks? this product is in the cart, getting good reviews so far

You`re describing me to a tee. I even mixed my solution at 1:8 instead of the recommended 1:9. I do believe If I would have done a better job of rinsing the roof racks I would not have had issues. Next application, I`ll try to control my environment a bit better. Jury`s out at this point but I think it will prove itself if I can get out of my own way.

I was going to try but at 1:9 youd have to use a little over 14oz of product just with 1 gal of water and youd want to save the leftovers, but how long would it last?
Seems less cost efficient.
I`m pretty sure 6 or 7 oz diluted 1:9 would have done the whole truck from my kwazar foamer.
