First I have to say I am very impressed with HD Speed! It saved me on the trailer I was doing and it worked awesome on this truck too.

I started using my FLEX 3401 and a Meguiar`s thin 6" yellow polishing pad but ended up going with the Megs thin red cutting pad, 3 section passes. It was night and day how much cut the Speed had using the cutting pad compared to the finishing pad.

On to the pics.

Nicely done, Don!

What did you use for the carpets (products & tools)? I`m still trying to get the salt stains out of mine (near the seat rails).

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks all! I messed up though. I went from a Megs Yellow POLISHING pad not finishing. Technicality.

4u2 - what I used was some awesome orange with oxy on the stains to soak and then spray the whole area with a heavier mist, then some hot soapy water with a brush. Wipe it up with a dry Terry towel. The citrus seems to break down salt stains really well. I will also sometimes use CG Fabric clean in the same manner.

You said it would happen! I used Meguiar`s Super Degreaser 4:1 on mats...I didn`t do all I could have on them but when the farmer came to get it he had mud caked on his boots and said it was fine cause the whole thing probably won`t last more than a week anyway. Lol

Thank you two. Yes it was a big job. Being a farm truck I was shocked that he wanted it done. Maybe it will be a repeat customer. I do have his 2014 waiting for me to get home from work tonight for an inside only. Looking forward to it!
