This past weekend out of the blue I got a private message from a fellow Autopian saying that he was switching product lines and since I was a Duragloss fan, would I like him to send me a bunch of DG products he was no longer going to use. Let me think...Oh okay, I suppose I could take them off your hands!!!

When the two packages arrived you coulda knocked me over with a feather:

Car wash and wheel cleaner and polish, oh my. Some slightly used, most unopened.

Now I suppose at times I sound like a Duragloss cheerleader or a DG rep afraid of losing his job, even though I have no affiliation with the company other than an enthusiastic customer. But this was like winning a DG lottery.

Now I feel bad that this brother Autopian (who wishes to remain anonymous) has lost his mind :o and is switching product lines...but I thank him and wish him well in his new direction. And if you`re reading this and have orphaned DG products, I will set up a shelter - lol

Any idea what line he is switching too. I just tried the 105 and love it. Just so easy to apply and remove.

Nice haul ! Enjoy, most of the DG stuff I`ve used is great !

And to the Autopian that gave it to you, a super generous gift.

Step Saver Tip - Blend 1 part #601 (Polish Bonding Agent) to 4 parts of either #101, 105, 111, or 501 for added durability and gloss. Accelerates the curing process for instant bonding. Apply within 2 hours after mixing for maximum results.

I believe he`s switching to Sonax Polymer Net Shield.

Switching from Duragloss is like switching from MaryAnn to Ginger... but hey, the grass is always greener for some.

I dunno...MaryAnn was a plain Jane country girl and Ginger was a hot starlet!

Perhaps he`s a true Autopian on the never ending quest for the holy Autopian grail of the perfect products and procedures for the most long lasting shine and durability. The surface that nothing sticks to....a shield against man and nature?

Then again, just maybe the answer is within us. Those that simply care enough to care enough to keep the ride(s) clean and polished.

Funny, I went thru the same experience a few Months ago. It was also shipped to me free of charge. I asked if I could send some money for all of this and the reply was "no I do not need anything". I did not post anything at the time as I did not want people trying to search the gift giver out and start pestering the person. Notice I have not said He or She. Anyway it does go to show there are still some people of the Human Race that are still kind, considerate and generous and want nothing in return. I for one deeply respect these people as they have earned it I am sure and more than likely not just with detailing supplies.
