It leaks not from sprayer, but around threads, so I guess it doesn`t seal well.

Well that stinks. Wonder if you could wraps PTFE tape around the treads to make a nice tight seal? If it works with plumbing it could work for that too.

Is it the threads or the joint right above the thread cap?

Those Tolco sprayers leak. There`s no seal where the threads meet the bottle. I suspect that is so the sprayer can spray more product without creating a suction effect on the bottle.

I think it`s leaking out the vent hole. A these sprayers are vented so that the bottle does not Cavatate when the product and air are evacuated. You can try the tape but I`m not sure it will help if it is in fact leaking out the vent hole.

I bought a few of these Tolco 300 Upside Down sprayers and I love them. They have a seal so they don`t leak and as the name implies, they spray upside down. The bottle does collapse due to suction effect so you have to release the pressure once in a while.
