Here we have a 2007 Bentley GT that was in a front end collision and brought to my friends auto body shop. The hood, bumper, and two quarter panels were replaced and repainted. Unfortunately, the rest of the car was in horrific shape and after painting the panels the difference in appearance was very apparent. When getting high end cars like this, my friend calls me in to work some magic. Originally my game plan was to do a finishing polish on the whole car and bring out the shine but after my initial inspection and a test spot it was clear this car needed a compound and finishing polish.

Products used:
Megs Hyperwash
Eco Wheel Cleaner
Wheel Woolies and various brushes
Polish Angel ("PA") Engine
PA Honey (Tire shine)
PA Palladium (Metal cleaner)
PA Master Compound
PA Master Finishing Polish
PA Bellaclean (Leather Cleaner)
PA Intimate (All Purpose Cleaner)
PA Super Sport (Wheel Sealant)
The Rag Company microfibers
Rupes Swirl Finder Light
Rupes LHR21
Rupes Mini
PA Master Compound Pad and Lambswool
PA Finishing Polish Pads
Rules Yellow Pads
Rupes Rapidwaxx
Nanoskin Towel

To begin, the car was soaped with megs hyper wash

Wheels were cleaned thoroughly

Engine Bay cleaned with PA Engine, which is just so easy to use. One of my favorite products by PA.

Paint was then measured in various spots. Anything below 100 I needed to trend very lightly. Readings were normally around 125 so I have plenty to work with. As you can see below, along the curved panels there was less clear which I believe is from previous detailers going back and forth on the curvature.

After measuring the paint, I got sidetracked because I was excited to try bellaclean on the interior. I`ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking on this one. Grabbed a quick 50/50 as I was in a rush.

Ok, back to the paint. What can I say, it was hammered.

Passenger Door you can clearly see the holograms and swirls. http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a484/Jason_Bernstein/IMG_1193_zpsqsaw1mlg.jpg

Rids were also apparent

Hood-- the body shop began to compound but I asked them to stop and allow me to do it.

Again, I was in a rush but let`s move on to some 50/50`s and some afters from the before`s above.

Hood after compound only.

Before I move onto the final sun shots, here are some pictures of master compound and final polish spread around. So easy to use its unbelievable.

Sun shots, not exactly glamour shots in a nice area. I was rushing to get the car done as the owner pulled up so please excuse the bodyshop background.

Thank you for the kind words everyone, I really enjoyed this detail!

Was this paint hard or soft?
The paint was medium but if I had to say it was on the harder side. The reason for the aggressive combo was to get rid as much rids as possible to match the new paint up front.

Beautiful work! I love those 50/50 shots. But I have to say I am VERY jealous. After being blown away by every Polish Angel product I`ve tried, I dream of using those PA products that we don`t carry. Hopefully in the near future we carry the entire line.

The left is after and right is before.

The entire line is phenomenal. What PA products doesn`t Autopia carry, perhaps I can send you some small samples :)

Did anyone else notice the little trees air fresheners? A Bentley with a sumptuous leather interior and it smells like air freshener? Breaks the heart. Polishing was beautiful though.

It was the owner`s that he brought with him when he picked up the car. To each his own. Thank you for the compliments.
