Moved to its own thread.

Look guys, it`s another new 21mm all original polisher on the market. This one costs only $279. The reviewer seems to like it. No vibration.

No offense to anybody, but to put down the brand they copied off of is not what I call professional by any means.

Didn`t gloss-it used to be a decent company?

Omg, this is getting ridiculous. How many companies are going to ripoff that design?

Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery or so I`m told. :)

Don`t these guys realize how unprofessional they make themselves look when they do this? Its like they think we as consumers are really that stupid

You guys kill me. It happens every single day in every single industry. Absolutely nothing new. Have you ever gone to Walmart and bought the generic version of Tostito Scoops? Well,we own the patent on that design, we took the company that makes them to court, and we lost. Frito Lay never loses in court, but we did. Grow up and get over who they copied, I personally am in the market for a 21mm throw polisher, it saves me $100.over the other 2 on the market, so yay for Billy.

Yeah, they suck too. I would never buy them.

Honestly, at least for me, it`s not that they copied the design so much as how they market it claiming that they put years of work and research into something they so obviously copied. I get it, these kinds of things happen all the time, just can`t stand people taking credit for others hard work

I hope Rupes, as well as all their imitators, sell lots of polishers.
There`s nothing scary about capitalism.
The more the merrier.

"This uses what we call an 800-watt motor."

This video uses what we call a horrible script.

In all seriousness though... I`m going to keep any eye on this thing. Not ready for a new polisher but, for just under $275 and on Amazon Prime, it may be an option when that time comes.

Best thing Rupes did was make a weak 1st gen machine.
