Does anyone have any experience with the shelf life of Merzerna products especially their SF4000/SF4500 polishes ? I mean with at least 5+ years and experience no separation/molding etc... Before I spend good money for it I want to know if I can keep it around for awhile, I have thrown away hundreds of dollars of products due to separation, molding etc... Most of you guys know that we detailers have tons of products in our inventory and we do not reach for the same products all the time. So far I have only experienced 3M and some Meguair products will not separate over long periods of time.

Some of mine are 3 years old. Shake the crap out of them before you use. I don`t think they ever go bad unless they stink.

Good to know, I just threw out 8 bottles of Optimum Polish, 6 bottles Optimum Hyper Compound, 2 bottles of Optimum Poli Seal, 1 bottle of Presta Glaze. They don`t mix no matter hard I shake it. The water based/banana oil products have 2-3 years shelf life at best.

My 3M Perfect IT and Meguair`s #80, #82 and #83 polishes are still perfect after 11 years !

I just want a bottle of extra fine/long polish time/long shelf life polish for jeweling paint with the rotary.

I have some 5+ year Menzerna products and haven`t had any problems.

I have had my 85rd and powerlock for around 5 years. I just take them inside during the winter and when I bring them out in the summer, as another poster stated...shake the crap out of them and they will perform just like you bought it yesterday.

I had the same experience with the Optimum polishes breaking down to water to the point of useless; yet my Menzerna final polishes are still fresh after twice as long in the bottle.
