First off bought a new truck to replace my `13 Silverado. When I bought the truck I did a quick polish with a paint coating to seal it in. Well, honestly I was a little undertaken by the glossiness. I think its because all the metallic flake in the paint has something to do with it and this being my first silver vehicle coming from a grey & red vehicles I was expecting a little more. Fast forward to today...

I washed and and used HGG for the first time (yeah, took me long enough!) and when I was done I was SHOCKED at the results. I didn`t know what to expect using HGG as a topper for my coating but man I don`t think it could look any better. And honestly pictures don`t do it justice...

So here`s the new ride with HGG over a coating

I was also blown away by how easy this stuff is to use. When I wiped on the HGG with the double soft The panel was already dry! No water at all... I barely had to use my WW to dry.

Bravo Adams.. you NAILED this product.

nothing like a clean, shiny truck and we like quick and easy around here. :)

I love HGG. It just makes drying so easy and as a stand alone LSP you easily get 2+ months.

Very nice! And nice GMC. Was the 13 causing you problems?

Agreed. I am on 3 months and it`s still holding up quite well.

At around 10k miles I had the whole rear end replaced. It started making a clicking noise going over bumps so I took it in and they took the diff. apart and found the gears were worn. I couldn`t believe it. So they ended up replacing not just the gears but the whole rear end assembly.

Next, at around 12k miles I had a power steering leak. I noticed the level was going down and could not see a leak anywhere. Took it in claimed they fixed it and still leaked. Took it in again to another dealer and they finally fixed it.

At around 18k miles the truck would spontaneously not start. It happened to me 2 or 3 times over a short period and when It did start I would have a "Service 4 wheel drive" "Service Stabilitrak" "Service TC" and it would stay on for the remainder of that trip. So I think it has some electrical demons too. Granted I sold it at 20k miles and still under warranty but overall I just was not happy with it. The new GM trucks are so much better in every way IMO.

I also bought the Silverado w/ 4k miles on the odometer as a demo truck. That was my mistake right there. Lesson learned.

Wow..your truck looks great. I would love to see how HGG compares to Prima Hydro Max. Both seem to be about the same in ease of use.

INDEED. Been reading nothing but good on HGG. But hydro max maintained with hydro wax as you dry is a killer combo. Might have to try HGG.

ALSO have my eye on WAXEDSHINE AQUA BEAD. Here is the thread...

AND Car pro hydro2 lite is ready to ship.
