I haven`t had to buy any for a long time, and now I go to pick some up, and I can`t find them anywhere locally. I ask at my local O`reillys and they called to see what was the deal since they hadn`t gotten any in for a few months. Their offices told them they stopped carrying them because of some animal rights crap.

I also checked Auto Zone, Advanced Auto Parts, Wal-Mart, and Target. No one has sheepskin anymore.

Maybe I missed a thread about this, but are stores around you not carrying these anymore? I might have to go make my own.

FYI: I have found another brand of sheepskin mitts over in the boating supplies. They are hit and miss. There are 2 rather local Wal-marts to me and one of them keep them in stock and the other doesnt. The brand is not Eurow, however i forgot what they were. They were very nice though and were a lot like the Eurow ones. A little over 5 bucks each.

Those are probably where I will end up getting them, but I was really hoping to pick them up locally and avoid high shipping costs for just a couple of items.

I`ll have to check that out. Why would they be in the boating section and not automotive?

Yeah, I noticed that lately too... I wonder... All that they are carrying now are from a very course cotton? material, which`ll never be any good to a car. I have also been in the martket for some yellow foam applicatiors and also striking out. Whats with that?

Here is another on line store that offers an excellent mitt. They have 4
different weights. I like the Ultra Heavy. I bought 1 and have used it for 3
months. I just ordered 2 more.

The walmart ones are great. They sell for about $7CAD here.

Yep, I can still find the Eurow sheepskin mitts at Wal-Mart.

Well I went to Wal-Mart at like 2AM to find them. I looked everywhere and couldn`t find them. I can`t find them on their website either

I agree. All I see anymore is the white terry and blue MF applicators. It looks like I`ll have to start ordering everything online.

One thing you want to do to maintain the mitt, after washing it and it`s dry, use a wire slicker brush (found in pets asile) to brush-up and de-mat the sheepskin fur. Works like magic! Make it better than new! Fluffs the fur up and makes it very soft.

A good quality mitt will last a long time. Always have several for different parts of the finish (one for top/sides other for lower sides).

I`ve seen the MF wash mitts that look like a mop, usually blue. So far, I`ve bought one and gave it a try just on my wheels. So far, so good. I`ll have to get another one to try on the lower half of my Porsche before I use it any higher-up on the finish.

I used to use sheepskin all the time, but now found that they`re too gentle sometimes. Been using regular MF`s for ONRS ever since.

http://www.autodetailingsolutions.com/wash_mitts.htm I bought these to try and can`t find anything wrong with them yet, certainly not the price.
