I know this is petty, but it really PMO. I was up to buy stamps for the household. So we went to the local ideal market. Got a book of them many times there before. Go to pay with my credit/debit card as before. "Oh, we only take CASH now for stamps" :wow: REALLY? Since when? Paid cash and left. IDK? My guess it`s just a new store policy. At giant eagle or the post office up here, they always took credit/debit as payment.

Stamps can be and are used as tradable currency.

I`m not too familiar with valuing stamps...do you mind if I call a friend to take a look at them?

I believe they sell them at face value so they avoid the credit card servicing fees.

The last few times I have purchased stamps at my local post office they took my plastic as payment.
