This car was from one of the local Euro clubs. Car has a total of 8K miles on it. The current owner has put about 1K miles on it. The previous owner was apparently a detailer; from the limited amount of TOGW, that may be true. Upon inspection, the car had some light swirls; they were pretty minimal. B-pillars were in terrible shape, but that`s typical of these cars. The current owner was looking for a coating to make maintenance easier and provide some measure of additional resistance to the elements and wash induced swirls. We talked about several different coating options and landed on 22PLE VX1 Pro with VS1 Final Coat. About 2 days later, I found 22PLE VX Pro2 was available. I spoke to the owner and he agreed on the change. It`s always challenging to get the depth out of white paint, so getting an exceptionally clean surface and a clear and level surface was critical to bringing out everything the white had. Oh, and this bad boy as a stage 3+ kit from APR making about 460hp on 93 gas, so it really needed some `show` for all that `go`

Iron-X at work, even with 8K on the clock, plenty of contaminants

Thanks for reading.

I`ll be posting a review of 22PLE VX Pro2 as soon as I have the time. The cliffnotes version: Same characteristic coating odor. It is not as easy as VX1 Pro, but easier than CQUK. Adding more coating to a high spot to remove it is not as effectively as with the previous version, but does work. Wipe off is also a little more effort than VX1, still easier than nearly all other non-spray coatings I`ve used. Gloss was tough to judge with the white paint, but it definitely alters the color slightly (probably darkening on other paints) and does add the typical coating look. For the additional cost, I do expect the additional durability, as all other factors seem to be on par with the previous version. I did have to polish down one high spot and it did take more effort than what I`ve had with VX1 and CQUK.
