The Gentlemen at Gran Turismo of Los Angeles entrusted me with a rare vehicle from a Special Customer

This is a 1966 Shelby GT 350 H

Only 999 of these were produced and purchased by the Hertz Car Rental Company as a marketing program to drive rentals at Hertz and sales of the GT 350

It is rumored that many of these rentals were actually Raced on the weekend and returned on Monday

Roof aggressively wiped down or improper wash technique or car cover?

Test Spot with M100, White Lake Country Hybrid Polishing Pad, FLEX 3401, Speed 4.5, 4 passes
Results were good, but too may RIDS remained

An additional Test Spot was done with M100 and an Orange CCS Light Cutting Pad with similar results

Broke out the "Big Guns" and went with M100 on a Lake Country Thin Purple Foamed Wool Pads
Really appreciate the minimal dusting, strong cut, long working time and easy wipe-off with M100

AFTER Compounding and final polishing with M205 on a White Lake Country Hybrid Polishing Pad
I also tried a Black Buff & Shine Finishing Pad, but the LC pad was faster and the results were indistinguishable

Deep Scratches on the front fender after compounding. I chose not to chase the last 10% on these vertical panels

Similar Belt Buckle scratches on Passenger front fender

The 3" Meguiar`s DA Microfiber Cutting Pad with M100 was very effective on the B Pillars

Sorry no Sun Shots, as I finished too late in the day. hopefully, the 50/50 shots with the Brinkmann and LED`s are sufficient proof of the turn-around

Thanks for looking

Nice job! Very cool. I don`t think very many of those came with a Paxton. Updated with a new A/C. It would be fun.

LSP of choice was Meguiar`s M26 Car is Garage kept, but the Owner was concerned with dust I have never hadd an issue with M26 and dust like you can with a pure carnauba

Excellent job Kyle. I`ve also read epic stories in car magazines about those cars being returned to Hertz with tools inadvertently left behind in the trunk after the motors were pulled by weekend renters and "borrowed" for race cars then put back in and returned on Mondays.
