I`m looking to get another new polisher but in a smaller model than the Flex 3401 I recently bought, a new one for those tight spaces and small crevices you can`t reach with the bigger machines.

I`ve narrowed it down to the Rupes LHR 75E MINI -VS- the Flex PE8.

From actual experience..... what are some opinions on these two machines and which is the better of the two? http://i561.photobucket.com/albums/ss51/irishrifles2/icon_shrug.gif (http://s561.photobucket.com/user/irishrifles2/media/icon_shrug.gif.html)

Any help is appreciated.

The Mini will only accept 3.5" pads which cannot get into really tight areas. The PE8 will run 1", 2", 3" and 4" pads which makes it very versatile, but it`s a rotary and must be used with care. I love the Mini, but the PE8 has a place.

I have just use the Rupes 75 `mini` and what a joy. Easy to use, powerful, and great results in removing etching from bird droppings.

This sums it up.

I have 75E and I love it, won`t replace it. But for areas I can`t do with 75E I would have to do by hand. The PE8 wins for versatility
