A little review about the DP Turbo Dryer........

First thing you notice it it`s kind of heavy. To me that means STRONG

It is a bit cumbersome (could use a shoulder strap).

As you can see, I used the flat nozzle to start with. Turn it on and you feel the nozzle push back in your hand. IT HAS STRENGTH !!!

After a quick walk around with the dryer on the car, I figured out that with this nozzle on it, it was no better than a strong leaf blower with a filter. Time to change nozzles to the smaller round nozzle.

NOW THIS THING IS GREAT !!!!!!! It does cracks, crevices, mirrors like wow.

Since I back the car into the garage, the drains are tilted in the wrong direction to drain the water. So the real test is the internal gutters of the car. Of course since it was Sunday which means another car show. And since I`m old and forgetful........ I forgot to put my chair in the back before I started washing. This is where I always have problems since lifting the hatch ends up dripping tons of water on the car.

NO DRIPS ON THE CAR !!!!

As I said, it`s a bit cumbersome, but it did the job once I figured out to just to use the round nozzle.

It`s a winner !!!

It`s interesting how everyone who`s used this dryer has commented on a) it`s weight and b) wishing it had a shoulder strap. Given this general theme, it would make sense for the next version to be updated for use with a backpack type harness.

Have you had a chance to use the MasterBlaster? I am wondering how this compares to the MB. For me the MB is a little bit of a pain to drag out and setup. but once I do it is so nice.

I used the MB at Detail Fest 2 years ago. Sorta think the same thing. It`s a pain to drag out etc. This was plug In, grab unit with one hand, nozzle with the other. Turn on and go. At tis point I think the flat nozzle is sorta a waste. (to me anyway, a leafe blower has same nozzle and is lighter but no where near as strong.) Put on the soft round nozzle and WOW.

Also the MB master takes more power due to the heater and twin motors, and I`m not sure that I have the power in the outlet I use.

Great review! I must`ve checked the box 10 times for a shoulder strap after the first time I used it. Maybe someone can come up with a shoulder strap mod. I`ve got plenty of straps around from old duffel bags.

Watching all the water shoot out from between all of the nooks and crannies on the vehicle was the most satisfying part for me. There`s not much worse than walking back out to your car after washing it and seeing water streaks ruin the perfect finish.

This seems like a great alternative to a leaf blower, I may need to pick one up. The shoulder strap was something i was thinking this thing needs as well, even without ever touching it.

and it`s a pain to drag out compressor to get the little crevices. This just makes it an all-in-one solution for me
