I recently found out about these new pads and purchased the DRC1000 Pro Series pads (6") around the holidays. Has anyone tried them yet?
I have LC 5.5 flat pads so wanted to try these. I couldn`t resist the idea behind them.

Sorry.. These pads are designed to keep product from being trapped in the center. So you use less product. And easier to clean since all the wax or polish doesn`t get trapped in the center.

That would seem to be for rotary only.

When I called, the pro pads are for either.

Might want to look for LC variable contact pads. somewhat similar. I love em

The whole "rounded edge so it`s not sharp and can be used for buffing" bit kind of turned me off. I don`t care if the edge is rounded foam or a "hard edge" foam, it`s going to burn paint thr same way.

How would this be effective for an RO? I just don`t see the effectiveness of the design for an RO. I could easily be wrong on that though.

Sorry, I just don`t put too much stock into infomercials.

I agree it seems more geared towards rotary usage. I`d be leery of it being able to hold up with a large throw DA polisher.

Haven`t used them personally but I`ve seen posts from Renny and few other professionals using them with their FLEX 3401 and rotaries polishers on FB.

Piqued my interest to try some.
