Wow, I cant believe it was that bad in less than 2000 miles. Good job though! Is that a Camaro in the background?

You got it. The Camaro is in for some mechanical work. My process for the Escalade was Sonax Perfect Finish using a Yellow Rupes Pad via my LHR15 Polisher. The car is by no means perfect. It`s a lot better but there are some super deep scratches in the paint finish still. Here are two scratches located on the hood. I wet sanded them using 1500/2000/2500. They`re still noticeable but not nearly as bad as before. The owner is bringing the vehicle back late Spring to have us work on it some more. I had 18 hours from start to finish. Big job!

After: (You can still see the deep scratches but it`s an improvement)

Nice work

See he opted for the scratch and shine from the dealer............

Lots of real estate on that thing

LSP?

Thanks. Absolutely. It was a disaster. The black wheels are in really bad shape. They are taking it back to the dealer to see if they can get them swapped out potentially. LSP = One Coat of Collinite Insulator Wax along with a coat of the dealer paint sealant. They went for it unfortunately:(

Outstanding result!! It`s obvious that the abuse started early and hard on this one... 2,000 miles, WTH? Looks like the "I`ll just clean it up with sandpaper" method was utilized at the store...........

Wow I`d be furious! It looks like they washed it with dry towels!

Great work on it! Hopefully they get the wheels replaced.

Great turn around! I`d hate to have one of those come in with such low miles and so much damage. I did a white one, not nearly as much damage, but holy cow they are huge. A ton of surface area.

Thanks for the comments. I would be furious too. The customer said they ran this car through a automatic car wash the day he picked it up to get salt off the vehicle. So there lies the culprit. This vehicle is rather big. A lot of polishing and staring into black paint. LOL
