I was contacted to perform a new car prep and Cquartz Finest application on this recently acquired 2015 Corvette Z06. We also performed a wheels-off service which includes removing each wheel to be hand polished and protected with Cquartz Finest inside and out. The calipers were also hand polished and coated to complete the package.
First off, WOW, what a beautiful machine! Not even two weeks into its life, its about to look even better than it came from the factory!

Iron-X was used on the wheels to remove any embedded brake dust and road debris.

The rest of the car was cleaned using Optimum No Rinse, then every panel was clayed to ensure there were no contaminants embedded into the paint finish. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo of this step.
Once the car was cleaned, each wheel was removed to be hand polished in preparation to be coated with Cquartz Finest Ceramic Coating.

This is also the perfect time to treat the undercarriage, all plastic was treat with CarPro DLUX.

Each caliper was then hand polished and coated with Cquartz Finest, which has been tested to easily withstand temperatures up to and over 800F. This makes it a great option to help protect the finish on the calipers with normal street use.

Each wheel was hand polished inside and out to bring out a deep shine, then coated with Cquartz Finest for complete protection. Applying Cquartz Finest to the wheels helps reduce brake dust build up and makes future cleaning much easier for the client.

Paint Correction
With the wheels out of the way, I was able to turn my full attention to the paint finish. With the car only being a couple weeks old, it did not require a lot of correction, but there were some blemished in the paint that could still be removed. The light polishing will also bring up the gloss level from the factory finish before applying the Cquartz coating.

Even though the car was brand new, there were already some etchings from bird droppings. Bird droppings, love bugs and hard water are some of the worst possible things for your paint finish. They should be removed immediately, as they can cause permanent damage to very quickly. Luckily, we caught this on in time and everything was able to be removed with a a little heavier cut. Sorry, forgot to take a photo in the same lighting, full shots in the sun will follow!

This spot was a bit odd to me, its possible it could be left over from the factory or caused during transport.

This spot appears to be from hard water resting for a long period of time, it was later removed by hand since a machine polisher cannot reach into this area.
