<span style="font-size:12pt;"><span style="font-family:calibri;">I’m looking to buy some new MF’s as the one’s I have now are linting horribly.` MF’s are always one thing I’ve had difficulty selecting. The choices just make my head spin.` So I’ll leave it to you guys to pick my next Microfiber.

`

<span style="font-size:12pt;"><span style="font-family:calibri;">If you guys could chose only ONE microfiber for polish/wax removal – which one would you chose??` In other words, what’s your “go to” Microfiber (Brand, type). If you have a link that would be great!!

`

<span style="font-size:12pt;"><span style="font-family:calibri;">Thanks!

Dan

At one time I wanted to have 1 MF that did everything. After looking at several detailers setups I noticed that it was much easier to have different colors and thicknesses for different jobs.` That way there was little chance of cross contamination.` That is one reason I never wash them together.

`

I don`t think this is what you were looking for but I hope this helps.

dschribs- I have a kinda`two-pronged answer for you, as I`m not sure I`d make the same decision(s) about MFs today...

`

I have generally subscribed to the "one MF" approach with regard to polishing and LSPing tasks (different for rinseless products`and drying and glass, and now I`m using something else for QDing too, but I didn`t for a long time).` OK, I sometimes use a suede-style MF for buffing off sealants, but usually I`ve just used the same MFs for everything.

`

For that "one MF" I`ve done just fine with PakShak`s Ultra Plush.` Zero issues, complete satisfaction.

`

That said, if I were buying today I think I`d look into the offerings from the Rag Company as I bet I`d be equally satisfied at a much lower cost.

Funny you should mention both PacShak and Rag Co in your post.` The best - and only - MF`s I bought were the Ultra plush from PacShak.` I`ve used them for awhile but those are the one`s that are now linting on me. For the life of me I can`t figure out why.

`

Looking into something new - the Rag Co is exactly where i was looking. These are on my radar as my next purchase

dschribs- Ah, it`ll be interesting to see what you go with and how you like them.` Which other ones are you considering?

`

I haven`t had any linting issues with my PacShaks (yet?), but I don`t use them all that often either.

Unfortunately I have also had experience with linting Pakshak microfibers as well. This was years ago and I never got to use them because they were linting so bad. The last time I bought microfibers I bought from Microfiber Tech. I never had problems with theirs

Bill - Can you give me a link for the one`s you bought??`

`

Accumulator - I was looking at these but the "Made in China" thing sort of scares me off...

I have numerous Microfiber Madness towels, and while I think they are the best, they are also the most expensive. In my opinion, you can`t beat the quality that you get for the price at Rag Co. Their Eagle MF are top notch!

Amen on the Rag Co edgeless eagles. MFM cost not justified in my opinion.

Just recently tried the Rag Company and was very impressed with these two towels:

`

If you want a very soft fluffy towel` http://www.theragcompany.com/16-x-16-DETAIL-MASTER-PRO-Eagle-Edgeless-Blue-41012-1616-B-EL.htm (`http://www.theragcompany.com/16-x-16-DETAIL-MASTER-PRO-Eagle-Edgeless-Blue-41012-1616-B-EL.htm`)` Really like these for the second wipe when drying and QD

`

For a shorter nap but still very soft towel` http://www.theragcompany.com/16-x-16-DETAIL-MASTER-PRO-Split-Purple-nality-Dual-Pile-42010-1616-P.htm (`http://www.theragcompany.com/16-x-16-DETAIL-MASTER-PRO-Split-Purple-nality-Dual-Pile-42010-1616-P.htm`)` These work great for polish/LSP removal using the longer nap side.

`

Had no linting with either towel.

`

To top it all off shipping is free.

D, I`ve bought a few products from The Rag Company.` They`ve all been outstanding and I`ve had a fair amount of time to evaluate them.

`

Scott mentioned a couple deep pile products he`s using.` I bought a few. They`re great.` In fact, probably my best purchase in all of 2014 :)

Tom, which ones did you buy? Are they still listed on the Rag Co site?

dschribs- Noting that I recently posted that IMO one can overdo the "thick and heavy" aspect, I think I`d prefer the heavier ones from The Rag Company over those from Microfibertech, though the price `of the latter sure is reasonable.

Yeah, I`m.going to pull the trigger on the Rag Co purple. Way too many MF choices out there!!!!! I always thought I`d be a Pac Shak customer for life pit the way my towels are now linting I`m having second thoughts. I do lilke the free [and quick] shipping from The Rag Co vs waiting for and paying shipping on MF`s from Hawaii.
