Hi!

`

Does anyone know what caused this paint damage?` These are teeny circular cracks in the paint that caught some of the fuzz from the soft cloth used to polish it.

Welcome to Autopia!`

`

Looks like some type of paint failure to me, but from what I couldn`t tell you? Maybe something caustic from insects?`

Be interesting to know the "enviorment" that the vehicle sets in during the work week. Like what sort of "manufacturing or chemical" plants are within a mile or so.

If you zoom in you can see how awful the orange peel is and what looks like sanding marks. Maybe it was just a horrible respray. This is looking at it through my phone so it may just look like that.

I should have mentioned that this is a 2006 Subaru WRX - original paint.

`

It`s parked outside year-round, and for several weeks of the year it`s parked in airport long-term parking (uncovered). `The paint cracks in the image are all over the roof and hood.
