first corvette

I am going to polish my first corvette. A 1978 yellow that does not looked to be waxed but maybe once in its life. I need to bring it back to life. My question is: do I use the same steps. I use with a steel car. Wash, clay, corse polish (menzurna fg 400) then fine polish (menzerna sg4000.) I use a random orbital with yellow and.white pads.

Paint is paint regardless of what substrate it`s covering. Some (like plastic) tend to heat up quicker, but with fiberglass you`ll be fine just doing your normal process. Keep in mind that it`s probably not clearcoated so keep those pads constantly clean for top correction and finish.`
