Any of you used it with a PC ? I am assuming it and a Dawn wash will remove a Klasse SG / M16 combo.

Jesstzn- Yeah, I use it via PC (far more often than by hand).

`

One thing though- I find it hard to predict just how well it`ll clean, despite its abrasive content.` Using it after M205 (even after I`d IPA`ed it...this was before I learned my lesson about how to strip M205 oils) resulted in a *terrible* mess that was an incredible PIA to sort out.` SO, I`d sure do a test spot before assuming "hey, it`ll take that SG/M16 combo right off..." the way one might expect.

`

And I sure would`nt expect Dawn to strip it off either.

`

Eh, I`d wash it with something like ValuGard`s "A", and even with that stuff I`d let it dwell for a good long time.` Or use something like PrepWash/Eraser/etc.

I really like Z-AIO . My favorite AIO.`

`

I use it on my Silver Corvette with Z8 and it looks stunning.`

If it doesnt strip it I`ll do a pass with optimum polish.

I wouldn`t rely on ZAIO to remove polishing oils. Do a IPA wipedown first.

Thats a given ... Do it with everything

I`d do more than IPA prior to ZAIO, that`s the approach that failed so miserably for me.` I know, I`m a broken record on this subject but I`d hate for anybody else to have the mess I had...so close to the final LSPing too!

Thats funny... All the time I been using Optimum polishes all I have ever needed to remove any leftovers prior the LSP is a 50/50 IPA wipe. You must have other factors going on.

Jesstzn- Ah, you`re using Optimum polishes, that explains our differing experiences!` My "other factors" are that I was using M205

I gave up on 105/205 a long time ago.

Got the first steps done. Went out at 8 this am, washed & dried her, no claying needed as it was just done a month ago. Polished with a orange pad on the PC using Optimum Polish to remove the wax and sealant that I applied in the last month. Then a wipe down with a 50/50 mix of IPA and dist. water. Next step was to polish it out again using the PC , orange pad and the Zaino Z-AIO to prep the surface. Last I did one layer of Z2 Show Car (Polish).

E.T. Was 3.5 hours then the wind came up and blew dust all over it.

Objective is +\- 3 to 4 layers. Using the ZFX I can do layers back to back, but thats for my next sunny day off.

Pix to follow when done.

Jesstzn- Sounds like you`re making good, and quick, progress!

`

So the orange pads you used were OK with regard to leaving a good final finish?

Yes very much so .. with the polish I used them on 5 on GG PC and with very light pressure . The Z-AIO I used them on speed 3 .. same light pressure.

Hyh, OK...I myself use ZAIO with *Griot`s* orange pads, which are sorta like the LC Hydrotech Tangerine ones.` Sounds like we both go a bit aggressive with regard to pad choice with ZAIO...hey, as long as it finishes out OK!
