Pulled from CampingWorld.com article
`
"Never use polyester or microfiber cloths to clean your RV.` Even though they may seem soft, polyester is essentially created from plastic.` Polyester fibers are tougher than cotton and can eventually marr your finish and rub the sealant off your vehicle."
`
I just thought this was hilarious.
Hope you all get a good laugh from this.
`
Yes, this was a real article, and this is really their opinion!
`
I just get a kick from "rub off the sealant"

Did the article say you should use paper towels instead? I have heard that one before.

wwww-willywallywashwax- Heh heh, yeah....that`s like the argument that you shouldn`t use sheepskin/"wool" wash mitts because wool pads on rotaries leave buffermarks

This is the information that our customers get.
"Just because it`s on the Internet", adage applies here.

The famous Junkman has said to run your hand down a microfiber towel, if it sticks to your hand it`s an inferior grade of microfiber.

Maybe they should use something`natural`like a chamois instead?
`
Folks should recognize that intuition and perception is not necessarily accurate.

90% or more of swirls and scratches are self induced using inferior, or dirty media and that includes MF towels. I totally agree with the junkman on this one and recommend watching his latest video on MF towels.

I don`t really bite on the inferior mf kick.
I range good care of mine, and haven`t
induced visible marring yet.
Worst ones for tires and dirty stuff.
Next is pretty polish towels, wash and interior.
My finish towels, I am picky of them.
Mainly, this article is to show that some
"experts " will tell you bad things ; I. E.
Don`t use mf, lol.

This is why we can`t blame or customers for believing wrong things.

We will have to agree to disagree. To me that`feeling he describes`is what makes the mf do its job. Hell what do I know since I don`t make videos.`` :-)

I know that new Sam`s Club towels have this
grabby feeling against skin. I also know that
I have done many black cars, with those
towels, with no visible marring added. YEMV.

I kinda *like* MFs that have that "grabby feel".

Wouldn`t they be superior for removing
polishes and waxes?
